London, October 3, 2018– Amulet Hotkey Ltd., a leader in design, manufacturing and system integration for remote physical and virtual workstation solutions, today announced key additions to the CoreStation workstation family based on the Dell EMC PowerEdge FX2, M-series and Dell Precision platforms.
Amulet Hotkey CoreStation date centre optimized workstation solutions help speed the design, visualization and simulation of anything from animation and movies to cars, airplanes and financial trading models. They allow valuable IP to be moved into the data centre to boost productivity, security and availability. Professionals can connect to graphics-intensive applications anytime, and from anywhere using Amulet Hotkey zero clients or mobile devices.
The CoreStation WFC640 blade workstation incorporates unique PCIe expansion modules and GPU cards to create a powerful platform to handle a broad range of tough workloads. Developed in collaboration with Dell EMC and NVIDIA product engineering teams, the Amulet Hotkey DXF-EXP-W modules can support up to eight NVIDIA Quadro professional GPUs within the FX2s chassis while maintaining the benefits of the FX2 architecture. The WFC640 delivers class-leading density and efficiency by fitting up to four multi-GPU and dual-socket workstations in an industry standard 2U rackmount form factor.
The DXM-P5000 mezzanine card for the CoreStation WM640 uses the NVIDIA Quadro P5000 GPU for a 2x increase in GPU memoryiand 1.5x increase in GPU performanceiwhile delivering scalability and efficiency. This enables new applications and workloads for blade workstations that were not previously possible.
The CoreStation WR3930 1U rack workstation is optimized for single threaded application performance at affordable price points. Intel Xeon E-2100 or 8thgeneration Core i7, i5, i3 processors deliver clock speeds up to 3.8 GHz / 4.7GHz turbo. Amulet Hotkey DXP4 PCIe cards enable unique multi-monitor options with multi-GPU and remote display protocol acceleration. When using Intel integrated graphics or full-size graphics cards, the Amulet Hotkey low-profile DXH4 card provides secure remote access for up to four monitors. With a combination of NVIDIA Quadro P6000 graphics cards and Intel Core i7-8700K processors, the Dell Precision 3930 rack is the world’s fastest workstationii.
“The need to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure with exceptional performance for demanding professionals is significant,” said Tony Hilliard, global sales director, Amulet Hotkey Inc. “Our new CoreStation solutions combine powerful GPUs, flexible platform options and class-leading density to address this and help companies focus on innovation to gain a competitive edge.”
“The NVIDIA Quadro P5000 redefines the graphics and compute performance of blade workstations with breakthrough capabilities for workflows infused with artificial intelligence and photorealism,” said Bob Pette, vice president, professional visualization, NVIDIA. “Customers that need creative freedom while working with large datasets and complex models can turn to high-density workstations integrating NVIDIA Quadro GPUs and Amulet Hotkey technology.”
“Today workforce transformation is being driven by need for increased productivity while optimizing graphic-intensive applications and customers are looking for solutions that drive performance and efficiency while delivering maximum return on investment,” said Ron Pugh, vice President and general manager for the Americas, Dell EMC OEM Solutions. “We are excited to work with Amulet Hotkey on innovative solutions for our customers to increase productivity, creativity and accelerate growth.”
Amulet Hotkey Centralized Workstation Key Benefits
- Secure anywhere access:to powerful workstations from the office, from home or from overseas offices. Connect with confidence using strong 256-bit AES encryption to protect your session and data.
- Power and performance:Intel Xeon and 8thgeneration Core processors combined with professional graphics and multi-GPU capability provide exceptional power to visualize and manipulate complex designs.
- Small footprint:up to four dual-socket workstations in the same space of a 2U rack workstation.
- Increase productivity and security:ensure datasets stay within the data centre on high-speed networks to boost application performance and avoid the use of old data across teams while increasing security.
- Exceptional user experience:remote display protocol acceleration avoids loading the workstation CPU to safeguard application performance and delivers rapid desktop encoding for multi-display, high frame-rate, and high-resolution workloads.
